Summer coming to an end

As summer is coming to an end we are preparing for Taylor to start school next week. Yesterday we headed to Las Vegas for a little shopping trip in which I have never done before. I found lots of clothes for myself and the Kids had fun riding the carousel and other little rides.

Triplets Birthday with the Powell's

Saturday Taylor, Trevor, and I headed off to our family reunion with the Powells which I always look forward too. AJ (Trevor's sister) watched the triplets then brought them down to meet up with us. We all got to bounce in a bounce house at the reunion then headed to my grandparents house where the kids loved playing in the sand, swinging on the swing. picking raspberries. and eating cake and ice cream.

Sunday as we drove home we stopped in Fillmore at the Maverick which has a playground for the kids to play on inwhich they had a blast. It was a great way to break up the drive. We we got home my dad was in the area so he was able to see the triplets open more presents and play with their toys. Thanks everyone for spoiling our kids on their birthday.

Triplets Birthday with the Anderson's

We headed to Salt Lake for the weekend of the triplet's birthday. We stayed at Trevor's parent's house. Friday we got up and started celebrating we headed off to training table for lunch and then to Hatch Family Chocolates where we were able to meet Katie and Steve from the TLC show Little Chocolatiers. The chocolates and ice cream were delicious. Then we headed back to the house to prepare for the family birthday dinner along with the family water fight. I think the triplets and Taylor had a blast. Happy Birthday Jarrod, Jayden, and MacKayla. You are now 2!!!!!

With cost of everything rising I feel I need to sit on the corner with this sign. I don't want to go to work but sometimes I think I should so we can have healthy food on our table. How did the pioneers do it all. I have planted a garden this year. We have tomatoes, green peppers, carrots, green onions, onions, and peas growing. I replanted cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, more peas, lettuce, and spinach. I hope we have a plentiful garden.

Trevor had the opportunity to paint a wall mural for a friend of ours. She teaches piano and this room in her house is dedicated as her "music" room. She wanted a keyboard painted and this is what she got. Thanks Rhanda for letting Trevor use his talents to bless others.

Quick Trip to California

We headed out Thursday morning for a 6 hour drive to San Marcos to visit my mom and dad and most of the cousins. While we were in sunny San Diego we visited the San Diego Zoo, played at the park, had a blast at Josh's new house where the kids LOVED showering outside, went to church, had family dinner, visited with Trevor's niece, visited Jackie, and of course went to Disneyland where we celebrated Taylor's Birthday. We had a fun time but we were also glad to home and to catch up on sleep. Enjoy the pictures!!!

Christmas Season

Well this month has been a crazy one although life is calming down. I finished school with straight A's in which I am very grateful to be finished. We went to see Santa a week ago where he read the kids a story and held the boys on his lap. MacKayla would have nothing to do with Santa and screamed.

We also received a nice surprise this morning. The doorbell rang and there was about 20 people standing on the doorstep to say Merry Christmas we are here to deliver a Playhouse for your kids. This playhouse weighs 4,000 pounds and has electricity going to it. The playhouse giveaway was done by Salisbury homes were they are giving 4 playhouses to St George residents and 4 to Utah County residents.

3 walkers, 3 climbers, 3 bitters HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We now have 3 walkers, 3 climbers (on everything), and 3 bitters. I am struggling to know how to handle the biting issue so if anyone has suggest it would be greatly appreciated. The doctor told me to bite that back. It doesn't seem to phase them. We have at least 3 bites daily that leaves bruises.
Our life is still pretty crazy around here with Trevor switching jobs and now works from 9:00 am to midnight Monday through Friday. I am still in school full time and will be finished with 3 of my classes by Thanksgiving. I have found an awesome babysitter who comes and watches kids while I go to school. The kids love her and adore her and is always excited to see her.
I am also looking forward to this weekend to be able to spend sometime with my mother in law and sister in laws while attending Time Out for Women. it is defiantly a much needed break from out day to day lives. I am also excited for the Holiday's to be fast approaching and enjoying the True meaning of Christmas.
I hope things are going well with you all and hope you have an enjoyable November.

Craziness is still happening

Well school is more intense than I thought along with being a mom, wife and trying to clean house. Jayden is struggling once again. I gave him a breathing treatment at 2:00 this morning and another at 8:00 we are now waiting to hear from the doctor to see what is the next step. In other news we are going to be very busy with weddings for the next several weeks. Don't plan on seeing any updates for awhile unless a miracle happens and I get caught up and ahead with school. Hope everyone is having a fantastic September.

Well life is changing by the day it seems like around here. I have been crazy busy with my flower bow business which has been so nice to have the extra money. Then lots of family have been in town. Jayden went to the ER yesterday morning in the wee hours for respiratory distress. To put it lightly we have found out Jayden has pneumonia and has been getting breathing treatments everyday and will for the next week. Please keep him in his prayers as he goes through yet another battle of sickness. Sunday night was very scary for Trevor and I to see the suffering Jayden went through and I am very grateful for doctors who don't take their jobs lightly. And last but not least I started school full time at Dixie yesterday. I will be very busy with school work and hope to finish a couple of my classes early. Thanks to Trevor's sister AJ for coming down today to save us from the craziness around here. Stay tuned I will post new pictures soon.

1 year check up

Today the triplets had their 1 year check up and the stats are in

Jarrod - weighs 21.38 lbs. length 30.5 inches
Jayden - weighs 19.38 lbs. length 29.5 inches
MacKayla - weighs 17.75 lbs. length 29 inches

They are all doing wonderful and the doctor is very impressed we have 3 healthy babies with a clean bill of health. All of them got 4 shots today which was very sad. We also have been keeping the triplets home from church since May to help prevent them from getting sick. I was tired of always having sick kids and now knowing Jayden has asthma I want to keep them as healthy as can be especially with swine flu season right around the corner.

Birthday Party

Saturday we had a fun filled birthday party with some of our friends. Thank you to Sarah for providing the 4 cakes. They were delicious. The 2 layer cake consist of pistachio on top and the bottom layer had chocolate mint. Can I say I am still craving these cakes. Thank you to all our wonderful family and friends who contributed in presents and helping us get car seats and diapers.

Yesterday was Jarrod, Jayden's, and MacKayla's 1 year birthday. The dy started off by having an eye appointment for each baby. They did well under the circumstances. We went to Applebee's for dinner and had their celebration bash. The boys loved their cake. MacKayla was not too impressed. Tonight we are celebrating with many of our friends and family at a birthday party in their honor. Pictures of tonight will come later. In the meantime ENJOY!

Countdown Begins

In less than 5 days the triplets will turn 1. I can't believe time flies like it has. On Friday their actual birthday you could tune into Kony Country and they will be announced on the radio, then tune into Good Things Utah to see their picture, and finally tune into Sprout kids to see what they have in store for them. On Friday they have a doctors appointment so we will celebrate on Saturday. Can't wait.

Taylor's swimming lessons

Taylor is currently taking swimming lessons at Dixie college. This is his second session of swimming lessons this summer. I can't believe how well he is doing. On Wednesday he was moved up to the next class since he was advanced. He is learning how to swim on his own and dive from the diving board. I have not seen him this happy in soooooo long.

11 months old

Can you believe the Triplets are 11 months old. That's right 11 month's! Where in the world has the time gone? Jayden saw the doctor again and all is well. If he doesn't get an ear infection within the next month we will opt not to get tubes. Jarrod weighs 20 pounds 9 ounces walks around furniture and has 4 teeth. Jayden weighs 18 pounds 5 ounces has learned to pull himself up on things but is still army crawling and has 2 teeth on the bottom working on the 2 top. MacKayla weighs 16 pounds 4 ounces, walking around things and is the pickiest eater of all. She also has 2 teeth on the bottom. I love to watch the babies interact with each other and play together. This has become a fun age. Thank you to a Rhanda a friend of mine she spoiled the kids with these mesh bags they can chew on. I absolutely love them and so do the babies.

A Fun Filled Week

We had a lot planned last week. We were able to go have lots of play dates with friends. Here is Jayden getting a breathing treatment on Wednesday in which he is doing much better. On Thursday it was our friend Zach's birthday we headed to Red Lobster with him and his wife for a nice dinner and surprise for Zach. His wife arranged a singing telegraph of a lady dressed in a french maid costume. (lots of fun), then on Friday we went swimming with some friends at Coral Canyon (lots of work) and then headed to Green Springs water park after. I now have very tan kids. On Saturday we had the privilege to attend our home teachers sealing in the St George Temple. What a neat experience. Thanks to all who made our week.

Jayden's Doctor visit

Today Jayden went to the doctor since he was wheezing so bad he couldn't get a deep enough breath. We found out he once again has an ear infection, yeast infection, bronchitis, and has been put on a breathing machine. Poor guy. He will go back in 2 weeks to see if his ear infection is gone. If not he will be sent to a specialist to have tubes put into his ears. When he was weighed today he weighed 18 pounds 1 ounce. I hope he sleeps better tonight.

Catching Up

We have been very busy the last couple of weeks. I made this diaper cake for a friends baby shower. Then the family headed to Salt Lake for Trevor's Birthday. Trevor and I stayed at a cute little bed and breakfast in Salt Lake while his family watched all of the kids. Saturday we meet up with his family at the air show which Taylor loved. Trevor was such a good dad to stand in line for 2 hours so Taylor could go inside the cockpit of this plane. Taylor was soooo happy. We have been able to have lots of play dates this past week with some great friends. These are pictures that I took yesterday of our playdate at Xavier's and Wyatt's house. Taylor played without any pesturing from 1:00 - 5:00 was such a nice break. Thank you Rhanda for having us over. We now also have 3 teethers. Jarrod is getting all 4 teeth (2 on top, and 2 on bottom) at the same time, Jayden is getting 2 on the bottom and MacKayla is getting 2 on the bottom. They haven't been the best and we have runny noses and low grade fevers. I can't wait until all the teeth come in I feel so bad for them. I hope all is going well at your homes.

Friday night we camped at Quail Lake and had a blast. We got to camp about 6:30 pm set up camp, and cooked our hobo dinners. After dinner we enjoyed the fire roasting marshmallows for smores and wolf ums. Can we just say yummy. Taylor's favorite part of camping I think is "peeing" on the rock. He kept saying he had to go "pee" every 5 minutes. The babies slept great, almost the whole night. Saturday morning we woke bright and early took down camp and headed for the lake. Trevor and Taylor enjoyed a little swim, then we headed home for showers and naps. Saturday evening we went back to have dinner and campfire with Melanie and Danny again. Now it is time to get the laundry down and finish unpacking.

On Sunday my aunt and cousin came for a half way stop. They were kind by taking us all out to Denny's for breakfast before they hit the road back to Cali. The babies are getting so big and can now sit in high chairs. Taylor gave Jarrod a Lime and he "loved" it. Melanie my sister is also here with her baby Payton. Thanks again Karalie and Sara for a fun night and morning. Taylor won a doll from this machine also.

Taylor and I had a one on one date tonight. He wanted to go to McDonald's to play in there playground then we headed to Dairy Queen for ice cream. I had a good time watching him play and he overcame his fear of heights and climb to the top.

Last week we went swimming with aunt AJ at the Washington recreation center. Everyone had a blast until lips started turning purple and hands and feet were all shriveled up.

Ear infections, school and company

Today we made a special trip to see the doctor. Once again the triplets have DOUBLE ear infections. No wonder they haven't been sleeping. Jayden's is the worst, then MacKayla, then Jarrod. Jarrod weighs 19 pounds 5 ounces, Jayden 17 pounds 6 ounces and MacKayla weighs 16 pounds 8 ounces. Today we also said good bye to Trevor's sister AJ. Thank you so much for coming and helping us out this past week. It was good to see you and play games even though you kicked my butt this past weekend. Get Better and good luck finding a job. We will keep praying for you.

While AJ was here I was able to go turn in rest of my papers to start school in the fall. I have now registered for classes and currently registered for 12 units. (full time student) I hope all works out so I can accomplish my goal and become a nurse.

Family Saturday and Sunday

Yesterday morning I attended the early morning Temple session which was ery nice but very early. Then I came home and Trevor and I made a Hamburger cake for a friend who was having a graduation party. After the party we came home and cleaned the garage out as a family. Yeah we can park the van in the garage now. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night I started losing my voice and I have a cold just like the kids. Today I have been lounging around and sleeping. Jarrod has yet another bum rash so we took him outside to sun bath his bottom but he ended up getting sunburned on one side of his face and his tummy. I love having relaxing days and fun family time.

They have graduated from not having to see the doctor every month the next time we go is in August. Yeah! They also had to have blood work done today to see if they are all anemic. A Week in Review

We had a very busy but fun week. Bryan my nephew stayed with us for a week which brought fun times with him and Taylor. We went to the water park, jumping jacks, and the swimming pool. On Thursday my family started arriving for a family reunion we had this weekend here in St George. I am grateful we were able to see all my brothers and sister with all of the grandkids. Friday Janae, Melanie and I did lots of shopping then off to Cafe Rio for dinner and individual family pictures. Saturday more shopping was done, visited the cannery to get a few items and then off to Washington City Rec Center for swimming time. I had so much fun watching the triplets reaction in the water. They loved the lazy river. Saturday night we had a group family picture and a BBQ at a timeshare. Sunday was spent by going to Sacrament meeting then back to the timeshare for playing games. Sadly to say most of the family left today. We have another busy week ahead of us with Enrichment meeting on Tuesday (on provident living making 9 pinto bean cakes for it) then on Thursday docotr appointments for the triplets which last most of the day. Home Safe and Sound

We made it home last night safe and sound. Now we need to get unpacked, laundry done, house cleaned, grocery shopping and then fun begins on Thursday when my family will start arriving for a family reunion. I will post pictures soon of our trip.

Eventful Trip

Well Yesterday (Thursday) Trevor and I made the trip to California for a wedding on Saturday. The trip I thought would go smoothly but shortly after we got going we needed to fill up with gas at Costco. Went to my purse can't find my Costco card. Remembered the cashier didn't give it back to me when I was in last. Had to go inside and have new cards printed. Our miss hap's were non exempt until we hit fallbrook. We got a flat tire going 75 miles an hour in the fast lane. Of course I was driving. We are blessed no cars were around us so I can pull off onto the side of the freeway. Trevor got out of the car to see what had happen and our tire practically shredded and we had lost our hub cap. We drove a mile to the next off ramp so we can unload the car and change the tire safely. I am grateful my dad came to help us out and take most of the load in his car. (We had 11 boxes of food storage for Josh in the trunk)Some nice police men came to make sure we were all OK and grateful for there reassurance. We made it to my parent's house at about 2:30 am Utah time. Today (Friday) are plans are now a little altered trying to find the best place to go get new tires. Hope rest of the weekend is eventful but in good memories.

We have been very busy since Saturday. The babies are now sitting in highchairs (yeah)! Taylor woke us up bright and early Sunday morning to let us know the Easter bunny had arrived. Some new and exciting news is that JARROD is "crawling". I can't believe the triplets are getting so big. Last night Taylor went to a birthday party at Green Springs park and had a blast. Today Taylor helped me make chocolate covered strawberries. (I am trying to teach Taylor how to cook and bake)

Last week the kids and I headed off for a mini vacation to my grandma and grandpa's in Orem. We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday. Taylor got to play with my cousins. We also met up with a friend of mine from my early childhood. It was a lot of fun to catch up these past 12 years. On Friday my aunt Katrina asked if I would make a diaper cake for her to give as a present and I am quite impressed with the way it turned out. Thanks to my other aunt Joy and cousin Sara for helping.

Taylor had a wonderful Birthday. I can't belive he is 4 years old. Taylor kept asking to go swimming for his birthday. We went to Washington Rec Center, put the babies in day care and Taylor and I got to go swimming together. We had a blast. Then off to Cracker Barrell for Dinner so Taylor can get his pancake and chocolate sundae with a cherry on top. Taylor wanted to sit on the rocking chairs also and then go home to have cake and ice cream. Taylor asked for a soccer ball cake with green ice cream (mint chocolate chip). Grandpa Roy was able to spend the evening with us which Taylor was so excited for. Thanks to everyone that called to wish him a Happy Birthday and made his day so special.

Jayden loves to read books

Jayden loves brother Taylor (giving kisses) Well we moved MacKayla and Jayden into 6-9 onth clothes and I am having a blast playing dress up. Most of MacKayla's clothes are dresses. We have been playing lots with a new little boy that moved into our ward and he is Taylor's age. Our neighbor friend also comes over to play which keeps Taylor very happy. We have been going on lots of walks since the weather is soooooooo nice here, and also to the park. I took Taylor and the babies to a water park for the first time today in which Taylor loved and asked if we could go back soon. Enjoy the pictures. Next week will be a very busy since we will now have a 4 year old and I am busy with my calling putting togther 72 hour car kits (192 of them).

Productive Saturday

I had a very productive day. The day started off at 5:30 am with me getting up to go to Lin's Marketplace. I was able to get chicken and ground beef on sale. A friend of mine then taught me how to can chicken. I was able to can 18 jars of chicken, freezed 30 chicken breast and 25 bags of ground beef. Trevor worked all day day and when he came home he spent time with Taylor building a house of Legos. We had a very good day, hope this week turns out to be just as productive and fun.

Taylor's prayers

Tonight I put Taylor to bed and as he was saying his prayers he asked Heavenly Father for another Brother named Wiggle and another Sister named Kaley. I am scared he is the one that prayed for another brother and sister when we got pregnant with the triplets.

Busy weekend and a test

On Friday we headed to Orem and stayed at my Grandma and Grandpa's. We had a really enjoyable visit with my grandparents, aunt, uncle and their 2 kids. Saturday we were able to meet up with one of Trevor's mission companion for lunch (Elder Brown). Off to Salt Lake we went for our nieces baptism and then back to Orem for the night and then back to Washington (St George) Sunday morning. Jayden and MacKayla have become very vocal and started saying "dad da" . Tonight as I fed the kids I tried pears after their green beans and MacKayla would not eat them. We also tried using high chairs tonight (thanks Josh and Janae) but they are not quiet ready for that stage yet. I really enjoy spending time with each of the kids even though it is a lot of work. Everyday MacKayla crosses her feet and does leg lifts to work on her abs. Tonight while she was eating I got it on video and some pictures. It is hilarious to watch in real life since she makes grunting noises and when she is done she breaths a sign of relief. Enjoy.

Lots of Visitors

Well we have had lots and lots of visitors this month. Valentine's weekend Trevors sisters were here. Then my cousin Sara stopped in on Wednesday, Thursday my brother Josh and his 3 kids and wife and my mom came. They left this morning. Here are a few pictures of the 7 kids. We are now getting ready for more company. We have my mom, brother Josh and his family coming for 5 days in which we are excited for.

Bowling and Adam's Birthday

Trevor and I went on a date Saturday. We invited friends to come along and go bowling with us. We went to Dixie Bowl and had a great time. We will defiantley go back (very cheap date by the way) Then we went to Big Scoop Cafe for ice cream and since Adam turned 30 on Monday the sang to him and made him wear an ice cream cone hat.

So on Monday we had the opportuinty to be to WIK by 7:00 am. Why do I do this to myself I ask. To have 4 kids and myself ready that early is crazy. We spent 2 hours at WIK and then to Walmart to get groceries. At WIK I was told Taylor is still considered "high risk" even more so then before since he has grown taller but has lost weight. I am to give him a spoonful of peanut butter daily and add butter to everything. Also they said no more letting Taylor exercise with me. On Tuesday I returned my pump. I am no longer pumping. I am still breastfeeding Jayden 2-4 times a day which is very nice for me. I feel like I have a lot more time. Today is the anniversary of us closing escrow on our house. We have now lived here for 4 years. When we bought this house I told Trevor I ould live here for 5 years and then we should move so Trevor has a year to find me something else. (I told him I wouldn't mind staying longer) Also today all the kids had doctors appointments. We found out Jarrod is lactose intolerance therefore they are switching his formula and it should help with him not throwing up so much. Jarrod and MacKayla has lost some weight due to being sick so we now have to go back to the doctors in a month for another check up. The triplets all got shots which they have been a little miserable from. Hopefully they will sleep good tonight since I need a goodnight sleep.

A Spoiled Little Girl

Well the past couple of weeks have been rough since the triplets haven't slept through the night. I had a brilliant idea I will let them cry through the night since they are now big enough to be able to sleep through the night and no more getting up to make bottles. Well last night was the night and the babies did awesome. Cried once for mabey 2 minutes then fell back to sleep (what took me so long to try this). The only other thing I did I finally seperated MacKayla from the boys and she now has her own bed and currentley sleeping in her own room. When MacKayla crys she always wakes her brothers up and she is a bed hog. Well I think we will keep it this way for a while since I actually got a good night sleep.

Saturday Night the babies had there first bath together. They loved splashing each other and kicking each other. I can't wait to see how they react in the swimming pool later in the spring.

Taylor's first Pinewood Derby

The cub scouts challenged the Elders to the Pinewood Derby for our ward. Taylor's friend from around the corner Micah was making a car to enter with his dad who is the elders quorum president. Taylor then begged to go to the Pinewood derby. Trevor had to work late so I packed all four kids up and took Taylor. He used one of Trevor's old cars that he raced as a cub scout and won 2 out of the 4 heats. He had a blast. Micah (Taylor's friend) won every race. Taylor won the award for the "Coolest Old Guy Car". Way to go Taylor!

On a side note Jarrod learned how to roll over today from front to back. (finally)

Taylor destroying his boxJayden MacKayla JarrodMacKayla, Jayden, Jarrod Jarrod, Jayden, MacKayla After waking up and getting the kids out of bed this morning I had a surpirse waiting for me. 3 explosion not 1 but 3, so I took the opportunity to do a little photo shoot. Enjoy the pictures next week the triplets will be 6 months old. How time has flown. Jayden and MacKayla can roll front to back and back to front but Jarrod on the other hand hasn't figured out the concept how to roll yet. Taylor has been keeping himself preoccupied with destroying things. Our vacuum blew up last week so we went and got a cheap vacuum from Walmart and he begged me to let him destroy the box. Yesterday Taylor also had fun exerciseing with me at the community center we ran a mile around the track and then walked a mile. Taylor and I were with our friends Adam and Alysha so it made it easier with Taylor to make a game out of it. (Thanks Adam)

Babies are getting big

Today we went to the doctors to have Jarrod and MacKayla checked out for there bum rashes turns out it is strep. But they were weighed and Jarrod weighed in at 15 pounds 8 ounces, Jayden 13 pounds and MacKayla 13 pounds 1 ounce. MacKayla and Jayden are in a rat race to see who weighs more each time we go in. I am very glad we have a wonderful doctor that takes time to see us and I never feel rushed. We go back to the doctors in about 3 weeks for there 6 month check up and shots. (ugh) Also today we went on a walk since it was pretty nice outside and Taylor road his bike that he got from Santa for the first time. At first he hated and was scared but by the end of going around the block he loved it. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will post one. I am looking forward to this weekend to be able to catch up on some needed sleep. We are sorry we are unable to go to Salt Lake but the time will come when we can get back up there.

Busy Life

I could have never imagined having triplets if you would have asked me 7 years ago. As I look back at the past 7 1/2 years of Trevor and my marriage I wish I could change a lot of things. Before we had kids I would have traveled more and saved more money for a rainey day such as this time. I feel I have no time for myself as I am a busy mom and wife. my day starts off pretty early taking care of babies and once they are in bed by 8:00 pm then I have time for Trevor and myself but I am trying to go to bed at a decent time. One day I will accomplish everything on my list. I am grateful for the help we have received so I can have an hour to myself.
